In 2006, CAITA was able to accomplish many of our goals and continue moving forward thanks to our members, officers and board directors. We’ve had great success with FedEx to establish a home delivery program which gives discount rates for shipping. We also have a warehouse and office referral service which includes Air and Sea freight services for warehouse logistics with customs clearances that are accessible to all our valued members. I welcome you all to come and contact our office to enjoy these benefits.
 

Unfortunately this year we also lost two former presidents of our association. Honorable Chairman Jackson Lan and Honorable Chairman Daniel Hou, (When these two were in office this association was known as SCCCA. Afterwards it was changed to its current name CAITA). Under their leadership they successfully promoted international relations with Taiwan, China, recruited new members and held many events such as golf tournaments to build a solid foundation for SCCCA. We will remember and always respecting their hard work and dedication.
 

I’ve visited many different sister associations from San Jose to Taipei, Shanghai, and Beijing. Through this visit, we shared information on new technology and current projects to further enhance our economic interest. Each visit was successful in strengthening our ties of friendship with other associations.

As a way to connect CAITA with other businesses and organizations, a monthly dinner will be held, which will allow everyone to inform the organization of new products and information. We also hope to accomplish a greater sense of unity and I invite everyone to participate in strengthening the bonds among each other and our great organization.
 

After some reflection at the end of this year, I would like to thank our friends and associates worldwide for the successful year. In addition I would like to wish all a great success in your endeavors. I look forward in continuing our great work and grow in the coming year.
